In caring for students, we believe it is our responsibility to see that an adult volunteer is able to provide healthy, safe, and nurturing relationships. Often, issues of a person’s past become relevant when working with adolescents. These will not be used as a means to judge you or put you on the spot. We all have issues in our past. It is important however to discuss these issues up front so we are all starting on the same page. Please answer the following questions accordingly. Any special concerns can be discussed individually with the pastoral staff.

Answering “yes” or failing to answer will not automatically disqualify you as an applicant for youth work. Again, as personal a topic as this is, we believe it to be important to discuss past history.
